Dan Haines has been with Burdwood Surgery since 2020. Prior to that, he worked locally as a frontline ambulance paramedic.

Dan predominantly works with the duty team seeing patients with urgent presentations. Dan is also our Diabetes Lead so works with the surgery team to care for patients with chronic diseases, such as diabetes and high blood pressure. Dan is an independent prescriber with advanced practice qualifications in patient assessment and clinical reasoning, minor injuries and illness management. 

When he's not at the practice, Dan works with other GP surgeries in our Primary Care Network (PCN) as the Digital Transformation Lead to develop IT systems and processes.

Out of work, Dan is either experimenting in the kitchen or working on his house plant collection!
