Recovery in Mind

Recovery In Mind is a West Berkshire based company who offer free courses to adults who want to improve their mental health & wellbeing.

The sessions are all face-to-face and run by professionals and peer trainers with lived experience.

You can self-refer and join their Welcome to Recovery Course by visiting their website.

This course is a 5 week course held on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings in Newbury. Once you have completed the Welcome to Recovery Course, you can join any of the additional workshops.

Managing Emotions Programme

The Berkshire West Managing Emotions Programme offers easy access to psychoeducational courses, designed to equip people with a range of tools and skills to enable them to manage emotions more effectively.

The programme is run by Together for Mental Wellbeing and are delivered online via Microsoft teams or face-to-face in Reading.

Gentle Yoga and a Cuppa

To help improve mobility, reduce stress and tackle loneliness, Falkland Surgery are hosting Gentle Yoga sessions for all patients registered at Burdwood Surgery, Thatcham Medical Practice and Falkland Surgery.

The sessions are held every other Wednesday at 6pm and are free to attend for our patients.

The sessions are a gentle mix of seated yoga with time beforehand to have a hot cuppa and connect with peers.
