FOR OUR PATIENTS.

We offer a full general practice service and run specialist clinics for children and pregnant women, diabetes, contraception, HRT, high blood pressure, heart disease, asthma patients and for patients needing minor surgery. At Burdwood Surgery, we aim to treat all our patients promptly, courteously and in complete confidence.

Burdwood Surgery is a training practice. This means hospital doctors wanting to enter General Practice spend up to twelve months with us in order to gain the experience they need to become family doctors. As a training practice, your medical records may be used for educational purposes. Because of this, we ask patients registering with us to sign a consent form giving permission for their records to be used in this way.

We aim to treat our patients courteously at all times and expect our patients to treat our staff in a similarly respectful way. We take seriously any threatening, abusive or violent behaviour against any of our staff or patients. If a patient is violent or abusive, they will be warned to stop their behaviour. If they persist, we may exercise our right to take action to have them removed, immediately if necessary, from our list of patients.
